Software Trainer and Consultant

Decisioneering is looking for a Software Trainer and Consultant to develop and conduct software training courses, and to provide model development and consulting for the company's popular PC-based forecasting and decision modeling products. Decisioneering, Inc., a leading provider of risk analysis software, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team of consulting professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide software training to customers both on-site and at regional locations
• Ongoing development of software product training courses
• Delivery of consulting services to include the analysis, design and implementation of spreadsheet models

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling
• Business-related experience or degree with a strong business acumen
• Ability to understand complex analytical software and concepts
• Excellent interpersonal and oratory skills
• Desire to travel and work in a dynamic environment

DESIRED QUALITIES

• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Proficiency with Six Sigma concepts and tools
• Knowledge of high-level math (e.g., statistics, probability, operations research)
• Experience with any of the following a definite plus: decision analysis, operations research, spreadsheets and Visual Basic programming
• Knowledge of facilitation techniques and experience delivering classroom training with strong presentation skills
• Strong understanding of business dynamics and environments
