Crystal Ball Concepts and Business Practices for the Classroom & Higher Ed Administrators

Date: Tuesday, March 18, 2008
Time: 9:00 am MDT (Denver)
Location: Your desk

As the economic world becomes increasingly volatile, universities continue to incorporate training in probabilistic methods into their programs, with many using such methods in the running of their own administrative business.  This presentation, aimed at the academic community, will show how the application of Crystal Ball to analyses such as pro forma cash flow estimation, revenue forecasting, and option valuation results in greater understanding of the possible outcomes and brings clarity to the decision-making process.

Hour I - Crystal Ball Concepts and Business Practices for the Classroom – This part is designed to be a teaching tool for professors. (This part will run from 9-10 am MDT.  Attendees must register for each part.)

Hour II - Crystal Ball Concepts and Business Practices for Higher Ed Administrators – This part will demonstrate the effectiveness of such concepts in running university administrations. (This part will start at 11 am MDT and run through 12 pm MDT.  Attendees must register for each part.)

ALLIANCE PARTNERS

Textbook Partners: Trialware Solution

In order to address the growing problem of installing older versions of Crystal Ball software included in textbooks, we have devised the following short-term solution. Look for a long-term fix in 2008.

For the immediate future, we will only be working with the professors teaching those classes using trialware from textbooks.

If you are a professor and have students with new trialware that is older than Crystal Ball 7.2, please send an e-mail with the following information to cbsupport_ww@crystalball.com.

      Your Name (professors only please)

      University

      Class being taught

      Textbook used

Version of Crystal Ball included in the textbook

Number of students currently enrolled in class
